Relational Modal:

I call this ui element the Relational Modal since it shows a relation to some element on the page. Im not sure if there’s a better name for it.

I started using maps from adventure cycling but decided to use google maps to plot my route instead. I would pick a destination (campground etc…) for the day’s ride, and adjust my route in maps. Then I would email myself the directions. Stay off any road that looks like an interstate or main through road.

My general route can be seen on http://bikeacrossthe.us, but most of the fun is to discover things which you wont do if you end up taking the well traveled adventure cycling route.

When I first started using CSSEdit with rails, I would always be overriding files with ?912937927 at the end. So, CSSEdit thinks these are unique files, and every page refresh causes another override. There’s a simple fix that will increase total happiness by 95%

In your environments/development.rb, add the following line:

ENV["RAILS_ASSET_ID"] = ""
